Allan Hardman

Allan Hardman (1942–2024) was an author, teacher, relationship guide, and an elder in the Toltec Eagle Knight Lineage of don Miguel Ruiz, author of The Four Agreements™ and other books. Allan met Miguel in 1995 and embarked on a rigorous 10-year apprenticeship that deeply shaped his life and work.

Allan authored The Everything Toltec Wisdom Book, and co-authored The Heart of Healing and Healing the Heart of the World. After his death, a devoted apprentice compiled his email correspondence with students into the book “Dear Allan…” Conversations with a Toltec Master.

Allan taught in Sonoma County, CA in the summers, and from his House of the Eagles in the beach village of Chacala, Nayarit, Mexico, in the winters. He supported clients and apprentices all over the world through his Toltec Apprentice Community Online (TACO) and guided spiritual journeys to the pyramids of Teotihuacan, Mexico, and sacred sites in Peru.

Allan met life as a forestry firefighter, a student of National Park Management, 1970s vagabond, natural foods restaurant manager in Vermont, health food store manager in Hawaii, custom landscaper, beekeeper, counseling hypnotherapist, garden wedding host, Toltec wisdom elder, relationship counselor, and practitioner of New Thought. He wove it all together as a magician of healing.

When he wasn’t teaching, he could be found with his hands in the garden soil or barefoot on the beach, watching the tides and taking photos of the sunset. All photographs on this website (excluding those of Allan himself) were taken by Allan.
